Pancreas Center 10th Anniversary Celebration

NULL

On November 5, 2015, over 100 people came out to celebrate the Pancreas Center’s tenth anniversary at the Metropolitan Pavilion in downtown Manhattan. This festive event brought together patients, clinicians, staff, and friends to pay tribute to all the Pancreas Center has done and continues to do on behalf of patients with pancreatic disease. In his remarks, Dr. John Chabot, the Center's Executive Director, recounted the vision that inspired him to create the Pancreas Center ten years ago: to create a multidisciplinary center that blends highly-coordinated, compassionate patient care with breakthrough research to advance the treatment of pancreatic disorders. Francine Castillo, MPH, told of the amazing growth she has seen as the Pancreas Center's Administrative Director over the past eight years. As the Center enters its second decade of success, we look forward to reaching many more milestones in our fight against pancreatic disease.
