Dr. Edvard Skripochnik Named New Chief of Vascular Surgery for Westchester
Dr. Edvard Skripochnik, a skilled vascular surgeon with extensive experience in treating complex vascular diseases, has been appointed Chief of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester.
"As I step into the role of Chief of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester, my goal is to blend innovative vascular care with a compassionate, patient-centered approach," said Dr. Skripochnik. "I am committed to bringing top-tier vascular care closer to the community in Westchester, ensuring that patients have easy access to some of the best vascular surgeons in the nation." He takes over the role from Dr. Gary Tannenbaum, who served as Chief of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester for 14 years.

The Division of Vascular Surgery at NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester will thrive under his leadership. I am also very appreciative of Dr. Tannenbaum’s many years of service, and his strong displays of leadership within the division at the hospital.”
Dr. Skripochnik earned his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, graduating with honors and academic excellence. He then went on to serve his integrated vascular surgery residency at Stony Brook Hospital before joining the team at Columbia. He has extensive experience in peripheral vascular disease and treats a wide array of other complex vascular conditions.
