Course Goals

This two-day course will inform participants of updates in innovations for the management of gastrointestinal diseases. The program will offer a forum to discuss optimal approaches between endoscopic and surgical management in the setting of these new technologies and procedures. Internationally and nationally recognized faculty will address issues in current clinical practice, adverse events and pitfalls of newer technologies and the evolution of the field. Attendee participation and interaction will be emphasized and facilitated through Q&A sessions, live endoscopy and interactive case presentations and hands-on advanced techniques tissue lab.

Learning Objectives

  • Identify advances in therapeutic endoscopic procedures for the management of acid and esophageal motility disorders 
  • Discuss the management of tumor diagnosis and resection, including advanced imaging and neoplasia
  • Explore advances in endoscopic bariatric therapies
  • Understand options for interventional endoscopy in the liver 
  • Discuss advancements in imaging and management of pancreatic cysts and related conditions
  • Identify options in addressing biliary topics, including difficult stones and EUS-guided interventions
  • Learn new concepts in third-space endoscopic arena, as well as innovations in endoscopy
