Erin Testerman, RN, BSN, CWOCN

Erin Testerman is a certified Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nurse in the Division of Colorectal Surgery. She has expertise in management of complex surgical wounds and specialized management of ostomy problems in both the out-patient and inpatient settings. Erin works with patients with ostomies and their families providing education,  and support prior to surgery, during the hospital admission and following home discharge so as to ensure the development of the required skills for the management of ostomy care. Erin is a valuable member of the colorectal team who helps raise awareness of bowel disease and cancer, and participates in fundraisers and patient awareness programs. She leads a weekly transitional care class with a registered dietitian and works directly with the surgical team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
