Who We Treat

Interventional endocrinology uses minimally invasive, percutaneous (through the skin) procedures to treat a range of endocrine diseases without traditional surgery.

What Is Interventional Endocrinology?

These treatments use advanced ultrasound guidance to treat conditions like thyroid cancer and cysts with a high level of precision, reducing damage to surrounding healthy tissue.

These procedures can be performed during an office visit using local anesthesia. This means less downtime and faster recoveries.

Conditions We Care For

Interventional endocrinology can be an effective treatment option for:

  • Patients with symptomatic benign nodules
  • Patients with small thyroid cancers
  • Patients with recurrent thyroid disease
  • Patients with scarring from previous surgeries
  • Patients who cannot have surgery due to existing health issues
  • Patients with compressive symptoms from benign cysts

Our team can help assess your condition and determine if interventional treatment is right for you.

Treatments We Offer

Our minimally invasive procedures offer safe and effective options for treatment, including:

  • Ultrasound-guided Ethanol Ablation
  • Ultrasound-guided Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA)
  • Ultrasound-guided Microwave Ablation (MWA)
